Find deep relaxation, detoxification, and release from the stress of everyday life in this all-levels workshop. Using a variety of props, you will explore poses that help you passively elongate your muscles and connective tissue, an important part of restoring/maintaining health and vitality. Restorative yoga helps you connect to your breath and body by taking time to melt into poses (asanas) while releasing stress and toxins through breathing exercises (pranayama).
This workshop is ideal for athletes looking to complement their training regimes, people with injuries or chronic ailments looking to heal and alleviate their symptoms, people suffering from stress, and yogis interested in enhancing their flexibility and deepening their practice. No prior experience with yoga is required. Mats and props will be provided.
This workshop requires at least 4 attendees and can accommodate no more than 12.
