Yin Yoga therapeutically stresses your fascia (connective tissue), a practice that will improve any athletic training and promote overall health and well-being. Yin helps athletes of all types improve the health of their fascia (including tendons and ligaments), elongate their muscles, recover more quickly from strenuous activity, and release stress. This workshop will provide an assertive Yin practice to target muscle groups and fascia most often affected by athletic activity (e.g., hamstrings, hips, IT bands). The workshop will conclude with deep relaxation poses to leave participants feeling refreshed and reinvigorated for their next training session or competition.
